Scorpio is the astrological sign symbolized by the scorpion. If your crush was born between the dates of October 23 and November 21, there’s a good chance he may exhibit classic signs of the Scorpio. Coincidence? Or it is possible that Mars and Pluto are actually affecting your relationships? Who knows…but one thing’s for sure. If your guy demonstrates some of these Scorpio traits, there is a very specific way to deal with him.

Scorpio by nature is smart, resourceful, passionate and brave. While these qualities are admirable, there is also a dark side to Scorpio’s aggressive personality. They can be violent-tempered, secretive, jealous of others and occasionally distrusting even to their own friends or family.
This distrust doesn’t mean that Scorpio is cold, however. Scorpio values friendships. There’s only one thing that Scorpio values more than good relationships and that’s truth, facts, and being right most of the time!
As long as people realize that Scorpio is driven by a need to be right and to be honest in all dealings (maybe even to a fault) then you can count on Scorpio to be a long-time friend. Scorpio hates dishonesty and to some extent, he even dislikes people who are not passionate or “passive” about life.
Scorpio men are assertive and decisive, especially when they think they know the truth about something. This makes Scorpio a confident leader in business and typically in relationships. Since he is a “Water Sign” this makes him attracted to new experiences and the desire to express himself emotionally.
In relationships, Scorpio Man is usually cool, calm and outspoken. They also come across as mysterious in some cases and may be deceptive when it comes to appearances; i.e. some Scorpios are younger than they look or older than they look.
Is Scorpio Really the Meanest of All Signs?
Not necessarily. Scorpio is intelligent and realizes that being assertive makes things happen! This does make him angry without good reason. He is, however, dedicated and determined to get what he wants. This aggressive leadership style is what rubs people the wrong way, not to mention their intolerance of dishonesty and even the possibility of people lying to them.
What Does Scorpio Look for in a Woman?
Scorpio is confident and a bit intense, not to mention sexual and proud of it. So attracting Scorpio is not always easy. When he does feel attracted however, he is partly intrigued because of the challenge or perhaps the mystery of a new lover. He is attracted to confidence because he is confident. He flirts and enjoys a woman who knows how to flirt.
But despite his notorious libido, Scorpio doesn’t just want sex or physical perfection. He wants an emotional connection and he wants the intensity of a partner he trusts and desires.
So he’s more about the quality of sex more so than the quantity.
Scorpio Lets You Know When He Likes You
Eye Contact: Scorpio Men have very specific characteristics they show when they’re interested. Since they’re all about soul and strong connection, expect a lot of eye contact. If he likes you he makes sure you know it, all in the way that he stares into your eyes. Part of the reason he does this is to test your reaction. He can tell if you’re intimidated by him or not interested. He has empathetic qualities, so he will read a lot into the way you look back at him.
Time: Scorpio will start to spend more time with you as the relationship deepens. He may up the ante so to speak, going from a half hour a day to even several hours a day of chatting. Once he invites you over or wants to see your place, you know he’s interested because he’s not by nature a time waster.
Sex vs. Bonding: Scorpio also has an unfair reputation as a player, when in fact, he doesn’t constantly need sex – as long as he has the emotional connection. Scorpio wants to find his match, his equal, and so will not push for sex early on in dating. He wants to show you that he respects you and that soulful connection is more important than his daily needs. Now that doesn’t mean a Scorpio man will never want NSA sex – he might, but that’s actually not a very good sign for relationship potential. He may not think you’re a good match, but admires your beauty.
Texting: Scorpio also shows his interest by texting and engaging in meaningful text conversations as well. He will text you frequently, say nice things, flirt, and essentially keep you entertained. Scorpio wants intense emotional connection so he will stay in contact with you. He may even go “deep” by sharing poems or quotes that he finds emotional. Pay attention to these cryptic texts because he tends to send messages about the relationship in them.
Questions: Scorpio wants to know you so he will ask lots of questions that reveal your true personality. He wants to know all about your past, your future goals, everything that he finds interesting about you. This helps him create an intense bond. In fact, don’t be alarmed if Scorpio stalks you just a tiny bit, wanting to get to the bottom of your mysterious allure. But he doesn’t want to just figure you out…he wants to understand your motivation so he can advance the relationship.
Is Scorpio a Good Match for Me?
Remember, Scorpio is not trusting by nature. What he is, is determined to find someone he can trust. Much of the relationship will involve trust-building and bonding, sharing your true feelings with each other.
Some say that Scorpio is more compatible with the signs Taurus and Cancer. Just remember that a Scorpio Man is strong and so controlling or manipulating behavior will turn him against you. He is a strong sign and when he’s negative, he’s vicious indeed. But when he finds someone who understands him, he is one of the most passionate lovers you will ever meet!
