Truth or Dare is fun, sure. But it’s a somewhat limited social experiment that leaves too much up to bluffing. “Never Have I Ever” is a much more subversive and entertaining game. It’s a revealing glimpse into the lives of people you know with those fun TMI questions and answers. It can be a social game for couples, or for dating your new crush, or even a dating game among all your friends, some of whom are single and cute.
The objective of the game is to announce a “Never Have I Ever” question to the other person (or the group) and then take a drink for every time that you HAVE done the shocking or shameful thing. The challenge of the game is in finding good questions that really catch the other person(s) off guard.
Each player can ask the questions and then answer with a claim. Everyone who did do the deed must drink, including the one asking the questions. As the night goes on, questions get wilder and people reveal shocking secrets. Also keep in mind you don’t have to play with alcohol if that’s a concern. Just total your points and see who “lost” by being the most corrupt in mind/body. You win by scoring the least amount of points or shots.
You have to strike a balance between too innocent and too wild. After all, very people are going to drink to crazy questions like “I have never made out with Harrison Ford in the 1970s.” And you don’t want to go for too many TMI questions too soon. Strike a balance and keep things fun and innocent at first and then progressively risqué towards the end of the game.
If you really want to make things interesting you can also ask for details of the “claim” each player makes. Perhaps if he gets so many points he/she is forced to explain what happened.

15. Never have I ever tried really hard to sext someone, but he/she didn’t go for it.
16. Never have I ever left the house without panties/underwear.
17. Never have I ever had sex with someone twice my age.
18. Never have I never had sex with someone much younger than me.
19. Never have I ever sent nude photos or been nude on a webcamera.
20. Never have I ever slept with someone from work.
21. Never have I ever fantasized about someone from work.

Lastly, remember that you can make the game even more exciting if you so dare by adding “strip poker rules” to get the other person(s) to remove clothing pieces instead of taking a shot. Or you can add kissing into the mix. If the other player has done it instead of drinking a shot they have to kiss the other person or the person across from them in the circle. You can also add more kinky dares if you would like and if your partner is game.
This is a fun way to break the ice and increase sexual tension with someone that you’re dating or interested in. Feel free to adapt these questions to suit your own purposes.
