Once you’ve established a romantic relationship with a boyfriend or a crush – and most of all, you know that he’s fallen for you – that’s when the relationship can really progress. By now you’ve probably sent each other goodnight texts that are flirty, fun, and maybe a little romantic.
But once you sleep together, or you know that sex is imminent, then it’s time to give him a little more than flirty text. Now you can send him longer goodnight paragraphs – the sweeping, romantic and heartfelt lines that you know he wants to hear.
Once a guy falls for you, you don’t have to hold back so much in texting or in sending him love notes. The only rule is, keep things positive and try to avoid being too clingy. You can love him, desire him, and cherish his company. But don’t give the impression that you need him or would die without him – anything that dark.
Besides that caution, these love paragraphs can be anything you want. Romantic, sexual, funny or sweet. I’m going to list several options for long paragraphs, including the categories of “before sex” and “after sex”. Notice how after sex happens, it’s about the NOW, the enjoyment. It’s not about commitment or pushing the “serious relationship”. That must come from him. Instead, keep things fun, carefree and most of all, a goodnight theme so he can think of you fondly before he falls asleep.
BEFORE SEX

I have so much fun talking to you. I think we have a little too much fun together. Anyway, I’m going to bed. Don’t pretend as if both we don’t wish we were sleeping together tonight. There is something so soothing about that idea. Dream of me, if you’re feeling brave.
- Goodnight ___. You know what I admire about you the most? It’s how you’re a gentleman on the outside but a rebellious bad boy type on the inside. You’re a mystery that keeps unraveling the more I get to know you. I like a man who’s easy on the eyes and hard to figure out.
AFTER SEX
- I still feel you at night. Your body still pressed to mine. Your eyes still gazing into mine. Your hand going through my hair. I love the way it feels to lose myself when I’m with you. To open my heart to you. To connect with you on such a deep level. Goodnight my exotic and mysterious lover.
- Damn, so restless at night. I can’t stop thinking about you. When I think of you everything seems a little brighter. The sunshine in the morning. The way the sky looks so blue. Such a beautiful day makes me think of you…and makes we wonder what you’re thinking. I hope you have a wonderful day full of new challenges and great rewards. Goodnight, my friend and thank you for putting a big smile on my face.
- Not going to lie. Our first night together was like magic! I always knew I was attracted to you and damn well knew the feeling was mutual heheh. As you can see, giving him longer paragraphs is not about writing long poetry or anything too difficult. You simply expand on the original thought, giving more details and more discussion as to how good the relationship makes you feel. Focus on the present and make him long for more intimacy, never quite giving him everything he wants, but rewarding him for his efforts. He will become addicted to your affection and will fall for you in no time!
