Have you ever dated an intelligent guy? He’s a great catch, that’s for sure. Always attentive and very passionate once he figures out he loves you. The problem is, intelligent and creative men are very expressive about their feelings. So don’t be surprised if later on he tells you that he’s:
- Written a poem for you
- Written you a love letter
- Written an erotica for you
- Written a song for you
- Drawn an image of you
And so forth and so on. This is creepy if you just met the guy, sure. But if you spend some time with a man and get to know him, and then he surprises you with an epic love offering or “gift”, then enjoy it! Accept it!
Actually, men don’t want you to compete with them when it comes to gifts and love. They simply want you to just lie back and take it. Accept it. Absorb it. Appreciate it.
Pet your boyfriend like a protective canine friend and let him know that the feeling is mutual. Give him the emotion he wants from you, whether that’s love, sexy, intrigued or sweet. That’s the best way to communicate with a man who gives and gives and pours his heart out. Give him the reaction he wants.
But here’s a scenario. What if he wants you to express yourself? What if he loves to hear you talk or type and wants you to tell him something love and romantic? Is this against the rules?
Of course not! The only rule is that he should do it first…just so you know he’s ready to discuss love and commitment openly. Once he decides that he loves you, you can send him longer and more detailed love messages.
How do you come up with longer paragraphs of text? Or how do you have longer phone conversations? Here are a few examples to analyze and adapt.
- I wish every woman had a boyfriend as kind, loving and thrilling as you. But of course then I would be jealous. I like the fact that you’re mine. All I want is you. Your presence in my life. Your face in my mind’s eye. Your everything. You make me feel alive!
- I know I don’t always express myself openly. But I want you to look into my eyes. Sense what I feel for you. Behind my glance is a sea full of love, intrigue, respect and desire. Sometimes I can’t think of words to express to you how happy I am that you came into my life. Listen to my heart and feel my love.
- I’ve always hated when I see other people taking good partners for granted. I never want you to feel that way. I am so used to all the wonderful things you do for me that sometimes I forget how truly amazing and unique you are. Don’t think I don’t appreciate it…I notice every little thing and fall in love with you every new morning. I am grateful to have you in my life.
- I miss you so much when we’re apart. Sometimes I hear your laugh. See your smile. Imagine your sexy voice when I’m alone. I can still feel the touch of your hand. Even when we’re apart, you always feel near to me. Hearing your name makes me feel excited. Even though we’re miles apart, I am with you.
- It’s hard to narrow down all of my wonderful memories of you to just a handful. A few stick out. (SHARE ONE) Most of all, I just cherish all of our memories together. I love looking at old photos and reliving past experiences we’ve had. From the very first time we met, we’ve had so many great days and nights together. I can’t imagine my life without you or with anyone else. Let’s go make some more.
- Who knows what the future holds? I know. There will be surprises. There will be thrills. There will be many great memories yet to come. I am so excited about the future because it’s with you. We’re going to laugh, live and learn. I’ve enjoyed our time together and would do it all over again.
- How much do I love you? There are so many words…I’d have to read a dictionary to express myself completely. The reason I have such intense, amazing and strong feelings for you is because you love me uxoriously. Yes I looked up a new word just for you! You are always on my mind. And without even trying you can put a smile on my face. There are so many more ways to express my love and I plan on showing you all 1000 of them!
- You are a diamond in the rough, a one-in-a-lifetime find. A man that’s not only sexy and rebellious but kind, loving and respectful. I couldn’t have custom created a man as wonderful as you. We have a special kind of love, a connection so amazing and unlike anyone I’ve ever met before. I’m proud of that. I love you so much.

As you can see, it’s not about poetic language. You don’t have to be a writer, nor do you have to be as eloquent as he is. All you have to do is speak from the heart and give details. Details, relating to senses like sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. Tell him in greater detail what you love about him, not just physically, but emotionally – the way he makes you feel. How safe you are. How good of a character he has! Once you get started sending messages from the heart, you’ll proceed well beyond a few paragraphs and will have a torrid and intense love affair to experience!
