Best Dating Books for Women

Sometimes an article is not enough. Sometimes you need a full conversation, an in-depth discussion, and yes, sometimes even a good book to change your perspective.

Dating books for women are not just a bunch of tips shared over and over again. Many authors write from personal experience. They explore a philosophical change, a positive mindset that needs to happen before your life changes for the better.

In this article, we’re going to discuss several of the best dating books on the market. I’ve read some of the bestsellers and think there are some great lessons to learn. Let’s talk about each book individually and the key lessons they teach.

1. Why Men Love Bitches: From Doormat to Dreamgirl—A Woman’s Guide to Holding Her Own in a Relationship

If you’ve ever felt like the “nice girl” you will immediately appreciate Sherry Argov’s Why Men Love Bitches, a tough-talking book that tells the hard truth about why men are very often attracted to, well, “bad girls”, if you will. Not only is it a full discussion but it also gives plenty of true to life stories to make the point.

2. Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment

Steve Harvey has a wonderful sense of humor and his book, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man is a self-help book with Harvey’s perspective, as well as his thoughts on why men act the way they do. If you’ve enjoyed the stand up comedian in the past, this book featuring his relationship wisdom will provide hours of entertainment.

3. Mars and Venus on a Date: A Guide for Navigating the 5 Stages of Dating to Create a Loving and Lasting Relationship

By acclaimed writer John Gray, the Mars and Venus continuation talks about modern dating life, whether you’ve been divorced, separated, or are still single and looking. Among more complex subjects, Gray also talks about the five stages of dating (attraction, uncertainty, exclusivity, intimacy, and engagement) and finding the answers of what you want within yourself.

4. How to Spot a Dangerous Man Before You Get Involved: Describes 8 Types of Dangerous Men

An excellent book by Sandra Brown that focuses on avoiding catastrophe in dating. If you think about it, there are only four types of guys out there: Guys that are marriage material, guys that are friends with benefits only, guys that you’re not attracted to, and guys that are just freaking dangerous!

You may have to deal with a lot of A, B, and Cs, before you find the right one. But you cannot afford to meet Guy D, the psycho, the dangerous man, and the kind that will seriously screw up your life for years on end. This is a must-read for anyone who has a healthy sense of self-preservation and wants to avoid narcissistic and sociopathic singles out there.

5. How to Fall in Love with Anyone: A Memoir in Essays

Author Mandy Len Catron writes about the deeper meaning of love, beyond what we know about it from film, books, and social media memes. She writes a series of essays about being loved by someone and loving someone, as well as scientific studies and personal stories.

6. Together With Christ: A Dating Couples Devotional: 52 Devotions and Bible Studies to Nurture Your Relationship

I don’t talk a lot about religion on this blog, but I know some of my readers are Christian and I respect that greatly. That’s why I highly recommend Together with Christ, which is a great relationship guide and faith-affirming account written according to biblical texts.

7. The Game of Desire: 5 Surprising Secrets to Dating with Dominance–and Getting What You Want

Sexologist Shan Boodram’s book is all about empowering single women for the “digital dating era”, with an in-depth discussion on self-improvement, conversation case studies, and modern psychology for sex and romance. You will also get to read about some modern dating myths that deserve to be debunked. The book is funny and charming and will help a lot of women improve their dating experiences.

8. The Forever Woman: Make Him See You as the Woman He Wants Forever

Last but not least, it’s only fair to mention my own book on relationships and dating for women – told from the male perspective and written for women. Too many books focus on the here and now of dating? Well this book focuses on the “forever” principle. Learn why couples stay together for a lifetime. Learn what qualities men look for when choosing a wife, instead of just a fling. If you’ve ever lost hope in idealism, love, and marriage…please give this book a read!

As you can see, there are many good books online about relationships, sex, dating, and finding love. How can you find “the best?” It depends on a few different factors:

• The complexity and organization of the material
• The voice of the author, and if they speak to you personally
• The most important “takeaways” of the book
• Bestseller status and 5 and 4 star reviews
• The credentials of the author

Some books even have an opening sample at the beginning so you can get a feel for the author voice and the subject matter. While the bestselling books out there are definitely worth a read, don’t forget to look up some undiscovered gems – books from less famous authors that are still brilliantly written.

Remember the book is only as good as what you get from the experience. Ask yourself, what is this book going to teach me specifically? What lessons will I get, and what will I learn to do after reading it?

A good book stays with you for a long time even after you finish the last chapter. The best dating books for women are the ones that change your life. They share the wisdom you need to hear right now. Most of all, they help you find the personal motivation you need to make positive changes and find the love of your life.

The 5 Word Phrase That Destroys a Man’s Love For You And Drives Him Out Of Your Life

There’s a simple 5 word phrase that will destroy any man’s love for you and drive him out of your life completely…

It usually comes out as an honest question when you want to connect with him…
